This way they will last a lifetime and they will be from the harmful effects of mold. Cleaning your leather is another story. There are general cleaning rules intended for leather items to keep them good as new. Items made of leather shouldn't be too exposed to sunlight. As leather materials are prone to molding, cleaning it regularly will do the trick. When cleaning, you can use special soft cloth or micro-fiber cloth. To maintain its high quality, leather should be moisturized by soap, too. There are leather cleaning solutions like lubricating oils made of natural products and are effective solutions in keeping your leather shiny. If there are spots on your leather, you shouldn't ignore it. Rather, you have to remove the spots right away to prevent it from worsening. You can use cotton swab and dip it in rubbing alcohol to be able to clean or remove the spot. But, if the spot is a serious case, you can sue tartar or lemon juice as they are useful in removing even those unseen spots. If you manage to take care of your leather, you are saving a real treasure.
